<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Defiance, Ohio</strong> - The Defiance College men's soccer program will depart on a 10-day trip to Europe on Thursday, August 2nd.&nbsp; The trip will include stops in Germany, Holland and Belgium, while offering the Yellow Jackets multiple international training sessions and two matches agianst international foes.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">DC is set to take on SV Heerlen on August 7th, before competing against VV Almania two days later on August 9th.&nbsp; the Jackets will also attend a contest between AC Roda JC and Bayer 04 leverkusen, while touring numerous other sights and attractions around central Europe.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">The trip will serve as a jump start to the 2012 campaign on the pitch for the Purple and Gold, with the DC men set to officialy open the season on Friday, August 31st against Greenville at 3:00 pm in the first match of the Defiance College Purple and Gold Classic.</span> </p>
