Haas helped put the game away in the 76th minute when he found the back of the net on an unassisted goal to give the Bluejays a two-goal cushion.

Elmhurst's defense made the goals stand up as the Bluejays turned away all of Carroll's scoring chances. The Pioneers did not register a shot on goal in the second half.  The Bluejays outshot Carroll 12-8 in the contest.

John Reglin recorded three saves in net to record the shutout for Elmhurst. Tomek Miaskowski allowed two goals while stopping four shots for Carroll.

Elmhurst heads home to face the University of Chicago under the lights at Langhorst Field on Monday, September 3. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
