Time is running out on the regular season of the women’s college campaign. There was plenty to talk about from last week’s action

1. Historic win for the Blue Devils

Surely the biggest splash on the weekend slate came in Chapel Hill, as a talented and determined Duke bested in-state rivals North Carolina for the first time in a decade.

Led by its suffocating defense, Duke neutralized UNC’s potent attack, limiting them to just four shots on goal all game. Sophomore forward Imani Dorsey provided the decisive goal, ghosting in behind the Tar Heel defense onto a ball over the top, depositing it home towards the end of the first half.
