Florida State women win 8-0

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Fifth-ranked Florida State (2-0-0) posted its second consecutive shutout defeating South Alabama (1-1-0) 8-0 Friday evening at the Seminole Soccer Complex. Seven different Seminoles contributed with a goal, while junior Rachel Lim set a career-high by scoring twice against the Jaguars. Sophomore Jessica Price tallied five points on a goal and three assists setting a career-high for points in a game, while tying the single-game school record for assists.
In just two games, Florida State has outscored its opponents 15-0 while 10 different Seminoles have tallied at least one goal so far this year. The 15 goals in the first two games are the most scored by a Seminole team to open a season.
