Hofstra to a 1-0 Colonial Athletic Association win over 15^th ranked Old Dominion

Saturday evening.   ODU falls to 10-3-2 overall and 4-3-2 in the CAA, while Hofstra

improves to 11-5-1 overall and 5-4 in the CAA.

With about 8:46 left in the half Annarumma scored his third goal of the season when his

initial shot was saved by ODU senior goalkeeper Victor Francoz, but Annarumma got

the rebound and punched it in for the 1-0 lead.

ODU outshot the Pride 25-10 overall, 7-5 on shots on goal.  Francoz had four saves for the Monarchs, while Hofstra’s goalkeeper  Adam Janowski came up with seven saves.

The Monarchs return for the regular season home finale for seniors Victor Francoz (Fleurieu Sur Saone, France), Yannick Smith (Hillsborough, NJ.) , Chris Harmon ( Downingtown, PA.) , Alex De John (Marlboro, NJ.) and Jordan LeBlanc (Haverford, PA.) on Wednesday night against Northeastern.
