• Record: Holy Cross (3-0-0); New Hampshire (1-2-0)
• Location: Durham, N.H. – Bremner Field
• The Lead: Holy Cross freshman midfielder Alex Weyrauch (Basking Ridge, N.J.) recorded a pair of goals to help lead the Crusaders to a 3-0 triumph over New Hampshire in non-conference women's soccer action on Thursday evening. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 3-0 on the season, which is its best start since the 1986 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Crusaders tallied their first goal in the 24th minute of action. Off a corner kick, junior defender Sarah Price (Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J.) headed a ball on net that bounced off New Hampshire goalkeeper Mimi Borkan. The rebound found the foot of sophomore forward Christina Napolitano (Concord, Mass.) who launched the ball into the net to give Holy Cross the 1-0 lead.
• Holy Cross added its second goal of the contest in the 35th minute. Weyrauch ripped a shot from the right side that deflected off a New Hampshire defender and into the back of the net.
• Weyrauch tallied her second goal of the game just over three minutes later (37:54). Freshman forward Caitlin Harty (Beverly, Mass.) redirected a one-touch pass into the middle of the six-yard box to Weyrauch who scored the goal to give Holy Cross the 3-0 lead.
• New Hampshire had back-to-back shots on goal in the 48th and 49th minutes, but Crusader senior goalkeeper Carly McCabe(Barrington, R.I.) made both key saves to preserve the shutout. The Wildcats had two more shots on net over the final 40 minutes, but McCabe pushed aside the chances.
