"It hurts that we didn't get an opportunity toplay our exhibition game due to inclement weather, it would have given us a chance to see what adjustments needed to have been made".
The Lady Hornets ended last season with a 7-9-2 record and advancing to the SWAC Tournament only to lose to Prairie View A&M. ASU finished fourth in the Eastern Division and eighth in the conference with a 2-2 record.
After announcing thefootball and basketball championships moving to Houston, Texas, the SWAC relocated its soccer tournament to the city.
