NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The Iona College women's soccer team picked up a key Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference win over Saint Peter's on senior day on Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 1-0.
Prior to the contest, the Head Coach Sarah Brady and her staff honored seniors Anna Higdon, Christine Rebus, Charlotte Stuart, Marisa Bentley, Marissa Dundas, Christine Rebus, and Julia Campagna. Also shouted out during the pregame ceremony were graduate students Jacque Rice and Erika Flowers.
Junior Mariana Jaramillo scored the game-winning goal in 77th minute with a one-touch shot that touched just underneath the crossbar past substitute goaltender senior Taylor McLean.
