Kats Record Third-Straight Win, Down ASC

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Sept. 27 - The Erie Community College men's soccer team recorded its third-straight win as the Kats downed Alfred State College 4-0 Thursday afternoon at Jim Ball Stadium.
The Kats, now 6-4, got two goals from Yony Guardado (Larose, La./South Lafourche). Also netting goals wereMark Tellgren (Springville, N.Y./Springville) and Mark Jones (Eden, N.Y./Eden. Tellgren has now scored a team-high seven goals while Guardado has five.
Freshman Waheb Noman (Lackawanna, N.Y./Lackawanna) picked up two assists while Phil Karlstrom (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) and Taylor Sentz (Hamburg, N.Y./Frontier) also were credited with assists. Sophomore Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made 11 saves for his third shutout of the season.
The Kats will play Cayuga CC Tuesday in a 5 p.m. contest at Jim Ball Stadium.
