Klein resigns as UNLV women's head coach
March 21, 2012
Jen Klein has resigned as head women's soccer coach at UNLV to take a position on the Washington State coaching staff, the UNLV athletic department announced.
Klein leaves after two years as the Rebels' head coach, and posted a 19-18-4 overall record. That included an 8-10-3 mark this past season, and UNLV qualified for the Mountain West tournament both years under Klein.
"I have known Jennifer for several years both as a student-athlete and as a head coach," said Jim Livengood, UNLV Director of Athletics. "She has done an outstanding job for us at UNLV. We wish her nothing but the best in her new position."
A national search has begun for a new head coach.
