NORFOLK, Va. – Northeastern’s Greta Samuelsdottir scored on a penalty kick just 34 seconds into overtime to give the Huskies a 2-1 win over Old Dominion University women’s soccer Sunday afternoon.

Old Dominion (4-13, 2-7) tied the score at one in the 73rd minute as Jessie Klamut sent in a cross pass from the right side to Jordan Jones whose shot went off the right post but Taylor Smith was there to put the rebound shot just inside the right post to tie the score.

In the 34th minute, Samuelsdottir just missed for NU as her shot hit the cross bar.
