MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis women's soccer collected its second win of the weekend after defeating Central Arkansas by a score of 4-0, Sunday night at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

After shutting out Omaha 4-0 to open the season on Thursday, the Tigers (2-0-0) used a similar performance to build momentum early against the Bears (0-1-1) to capture a 2-0 start for the third consecutive season.

"There was a lot of good. It's still early. As a coach, you seek perfection," head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "I thought we did some good things offensively. I think we need to clean up a few things, but overall, you take it and move on to the next. I'm proud of the way the girls played overall."

Memphis applied pressure on the Bears' defense early with a pair of corner kicks. The Tigers cashed in after a free kick by Olivia Gauthier into the box found the feet of Marie Levasseur, who found the back of the net for the early lead.

Moberg, who also started in goal in Thursday's win, tallied five saves throughout the night to record her sixth career shutout.

"She's playing with a lot of confidence. Those balls that are up in the air, she's really coming for," Monaghan said. "She's playing well. We know what her potential is, and so far so good."

Memphis increased the lead to 3-0 off a penalty kick netted by junior Jessica Lisi in the  37th minute.

Larisey turned in her second goal of the evening and capped the scoring in the 57th minute. After junior Stasia Mallin sent a pass up the field, Larisey sprinted down the right side and sent the ball past the keeper in the lower left side of the goal for her third goal of the year.
