Lehigh picked third, Nugent All-League

<div>BETHLEHEM, Pa. &ndash; The Lehigh men&rsquo;s soccer team is predicted to finish third in the Patriot League preseason poll released Tuesday, while junior Ciaran Nugent was selected to the preseason All-League team. The Mountain Hawks finished with a 4-2-1 league mark last year, earning them a #3 seed in the Patriot League Tournament.&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Colgate was picked to finish first in the Patriot League, receiving 91 points (eight first-place votes), followed by American (85 points), Lehigh (67), Navy (64), Lafayette (48), Bucknell (47), Army (31) and Holy Cross (15). &nbsp;The Mountain Hawks were knocked out of the playoffs after falling to Colgate in the semifinals last year, 5-4, on penalty kicks after the game was scoreless after two overtimes.</div> <div> <div class="related_links">&nbsp;</div> </div> <div>Junior goalkeeper Ciaran Nugent was named to the preseason All-League team after a 2011 campaign in which he led the Patriot League in shutouts with 11. The 2011 First Team All-Patriot League selection and Goalkeeper of the Year also finished second in the league in save percentage with a .896 mark and tied for second in saves with 69. He will anchor a defense that looks to protect an eight-game unbeaten streak at home.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Lehigh continues to prepare for its season opener this Saturday when it plays host to Hofstra.
