Marist Begins Spring Season, Hosts Clinic
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist men’s soccer team will kick off its spring season March 29 with a 1:30 p.m. contest against Albany in Tenney Stadium. Prior to the game, there will be a high school clinic from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. where participants can play and learn from the Marist coaching staff.
Spots are still available for the clinic. To participate, players must fill out the required clinic registration form and either mail it in or bring it to the clinic. The form can be downloaded HERE.
The Red Foxes will continue their spring season with another home game versus Dominican College at 8 p.m. April 13. Marist will then play the rest of its games on the road, going up against Fairleigh Dickinson at 3 p.m. April 19, Adelphi at 7 p.m. April 24, and Vassar at 1 p.m. May 2.
Marist returns eight of its 11 starters from the 2014 season including Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team members Kevin Kappock (Howell, N.J.) and Erik Dahl (Helsingborgs, Sweden) as well as freshman starting goal keeper Mark Rajovic (Katonah, N.Y.).
