Sasho Cirovski’s Maryland Terrapins are now #1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 48 National Ranking for men’s college soccer, following an impressive 4-0 win over Boston College to continue the perfect start to their season.

 

Maryland replaces North Carolina, who dropped their ACC opener to Virginia Tech on Saturday. UNC drops to #4, behind Connecticut and Akron, who each moved up a slot. Louisville remains at #5 after a pair of wins.

 

The ranking is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field, including all automatic conference and at-large qualifiers. Weekly updates will appear every Monday.

 

Meanwhile, UC Irvine’s Enrique Cardenas is the TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's College Player of the Week following his offensive exploits for the Anteaters in a pair of wins this weekend. Cardenas recorded three goals and an assist in road wins over Wisconsin and UIC.
