This spring and into the summer, TDS will take a look at some of the players in each DI college conference that could take a big step forward in on-field contributions later this year.
The American Athletic Conference may be the most underrated in men's DI soccer. The additions of Charlotte, FIU, FAU and UAB in the fall of 2022 vaulted the conference to new heights, leading to five NCAA tournament bids, second only to the ACC. There is plenty of talent on each team, and here are nine who could have a breakout year in the fall.
