Men's DI Power Rankings: Preseason
During the 2020 fall season, TopDrawerSoccer.com will release Power Rankings, sizing up the top teams playing in the truncated men’s Division I soccer season. Competitive games in the men’s ACC are slated to kick off this weekend, offering a first look at how things could play out in the short and funky season.
1. Virginia: The national runners up last year, the Cavaliers lost a good chunk of that roster, with several players either graduating or turning pro early. There are building blocks for another strong defense, between Andreas Ueland and Colin Shutler. It isn’t going to be quite the same style of play, but it should be as effective as usual.
