Men’s Division I Top 25: Oct. 6
There is another new No. 1 in the TopDrawerSoccer men’s Division I Top 25 this week as Pac-12 program Washington takes over the top spot after wins over California and Stanford last week. The Huskies also benefit from Notre Dame’s unexpected loss to Boston College. The Irish slip to No 5 in the Top 25 heading into week seven.
Creighton creeps up to No. 2 in the Top 25 following victories over UMKC and Seton Hall. The Jays face Drake and Butler this week.
Syracuse leaps into the No. 3 spot after another shutout victory last week. The Orange beat Virginia Tech 1-0 and improved to 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.
Penn State checks in at No. 4 after a pair of shutout wins last week. The Nittany Lions beat Bucknell 2-0 and Rutgers 1-0. The Big Ten program is 10-0-1 on the season.
