PAINESVILLE, Ohio – After topping Notre Dame College 2-1 Friday evening, the Ohio Dominican men's soccer team made a clean sweep of their northeast Ohio trip, earning their first shutout of the season after storming past Lake Erie 2-0 Sunday evening.

ODU, now 3-2 overall, improve to 2-1 in GLIAC play while the Storm fall to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

The Panthers took advantage of the second half, outshooting the Storm 12-7 to go along with two goals. In the 49th minute junior Duncan Campbell (Hilliard, Ohio) chipped in his first goal of the season after senior Colby Catlett's (Hilliard, Ohio) shot was stopped by the Storm's goalie Fulup Ljubevski, allowing Campbell to connect for the 1-0 lead on the rebound.

With 20 minutes left in the half, ODU extended their lead to 2-0 after junior Billy McGlone (Lexington, Ohio) booted the ball 23 yards out to the bottom right corner of the net, recording his first goal of the season.

ODU finished with an 18-14 advantage on shots, including a 9-6 on shots on goal, and an 8-4 edge on corners, while freshman Macklin Robinson (Cincinnati, Ohio) earned his first career win as a Panther, notching six saves in the shutout.
