The Team of the Week is led by a heroic sophomore who combined quality with quantity for Quinnipiac. 

A sensational stretch for Taehyeon Lim began against Providence as he assisted a second-half equalizer before converting the 3-2 game-winning penalty kick with eight minutes to play. Then came an unforgettable performance versus Yale. The Canadian midfielder provided an assist in the first half, then bagged a second-half hat trick of top-class goals to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 victory.

Men’s Team of the Week: August 24-August 30

GK Alex Kron, UNC Wilmington - Kron was unbeatable against No. 10 Furman, making eight saves in a 0-0 draw.

D Martin Wurschmidt, Ohio State -  Leading a perfect week for the Buckeyes, Wurschmidt scored once against DePaul, then played all 90 as the team earned a 6-0 and 2-0 win.

D Santiago de Prado, Bryant - The Bulldogs did not concede this week, largely thanks to de Prado, who played all 90 minutes of a 1-0 win over Rhode Island, then contributed a goal and an assist in the 3-0 shutout of Lafayette.

D Matthew Paiva, Akron - The senior captain led the team to back-to-back clean sheets, first in a 0-0 draw with Army, then again while assisting the game winner to defeat Wake Forest.

M Giacomo Zizza, Louisville - Zizza had an unforgettable week as he scored a last-second winner to cap off a two-goal performance versus rival Kentucky, then produced an assist in the 3-1 win over Lipscomb.

M Cal Kurzawa, Oakland - In a breakout performance, the Indiana native fueled a 3-2 defeat of UIC by scoring twice and assisting once.

M Taehyeon Lim, Quinnipiac - Lim scored four and assisted one to lead two victories for the Bobcats.

M Dominic Zuniga, Wisconsin-Milwaukee - The Kansas native was a creative force for the Panthers, beginning with a hat trick of assists to defeat Chicago State 3-1, then adding another helper in a 1-1 tie with Loyola-Chicago.

F Tomiwa Adewumi, Marquette - The freshman sensation continued his brilliant collegiate start with two goals and an assist to defeat Northern Illinois 4-2.

F Alejandro Velazquez-Lopez, South Carolina - The senior star scored twice against USC Upstate, then provided a top-notch performance against No. 3 Clemson, scoring once and assisting another to lead a 3-2 upset.

F Grayson Elmquist, Michigan - Leading the Wolverine attack with quality, Elmquist scored one and assisted another in a 3-1 victory versus Niagara, then added another two goals, including an 84th-minute winner, to defeat SIUE 3-2.
