Nicolosi Garners RMAC Athlete of the Month Honor
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Freshman goalkeeper Christian Nicolosi was named October's RMAC Athlete of the month for his performance in the eight RMAC matches throughout last month.
Nicolosi went 8-0-0 throughout October, while putting up 19 saves in his 702 minutes between the posts. He allowed only six goals for a 0.77 goals against average, helping the Rangers to a RMAC regular season championship. He earned RMAC player of the week status in week 10 of the regular season as well.
Currently, the native of Highlands Ranch, Colo. ranks 21st nationally with a 0.799 overall goals against average.
As the top seed in the NCAA tournament, Regis will play the winner of Colorado Mines and Incarnate Word, a match that will take place Saturday, November 10th in Golden, Colo. at 1 p.m. The third round match will take place in the West Region at the highest remaining seed following the second round of playoffs.
The Peach Belt Conference will host the final four games on November 29th and December 1st at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga.
