No. 15 Bears Tie Lehigh, 1-1, in 2 OTs in Cal Legacy Classic
BERKELEY - Fifteenth-ranked California battled Lehigh for 120 minutes Friday afternoon on Goldman Field at Edwards Stadium, and the teams wound up tying, 1-1, after two overtimes in the Golden Bears' first game of the Cal Legacy Classic. Each team now has a 1-1-2 record after the nonconference match.
The Bears scored first, as Tony Salciccia collected his first goal of the season with a long-range blast that ricocheted off the goalpost and in at the 29:44 mark. Sophomore defender Ryan Neil assisted on the goal.
Twenty nine seconds into the second half, James Meyerkord equalized for the Mountain Hawks. He collected a loose ball at the top of the Cal box and slotted the ball in the net.

Lehigh and Kentucky also play at Stanford as part of the Cal Legacy Classic. The Wildcats lost at previously winless Stanford, 3-1, today. The Mountain Hawks play on the Farm at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
