Denver, Colorado: The Regis University Ranger women’s soccer team faced off against cross-town rival the No. 17 Metropolitan State University of Denver Roadrunners (8-1-2, 5-0-2 RMAC) in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match.  The Roadrunners remain unbeaten in the conference play and the Rangers move to an overall record of 7-3-1 and 5-2-0 in the RMAC.

MSU Denver offense proved to be too much shutting out RU 4-0 on the road.  Roadrunner Karisa Price netted a hat trick scoring her first goal of the match in the 17th minute.  The Rangers were within a goal heading into the break but MSU Denver found rhythm and Regis was unable to recover.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kat Crump (Huntsville, Alabama) played in 72 minutes of action recording four saves before sophomore goalkeeper Brianna Randall (Minden, Nevada) relieved her and closed the game out tallying two saves.  The Roadrunners won the shot advantage 15-9.

The Rangers host Western State on Sunday, October 12 at 1 p.m.
