The Northeastern women’s soccer team fell to the Clemson Tigers Sunday afternoon, 2-1. Clemson improves to 5-0-0 on the season, while the Huskies fall to 2-3-0.

Clemson took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute when forward Maddy Elder put home a header off of a free kick from Stacey Huddleston.

The Huskies return to action when they take on LaSalle this Friday, Sept. 9, at Parsons Field. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
