Ordonez, Bund Carry Kats Past Alfred State

ALFRED, N.Y. - Sept. 29 - Sophomore forward Pablo Ordonez (Cheektowaga, N.Y./Cheektowaga) scored in the 50th minute to lift the Erie Community College men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Alfred State Thursday afternoon in Region III play.
Ordonez has now scored 12 goals this season. His total is the fourth-most in NJCAA Division III.
Freshman Rich Bund (Silver Creek, N.Y./Silver Creek) made five saves, including a penalty kick, on his way to recording his second complete-game shutout of the season.
The Kats, now 4-6, play Cayuga Community College at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Auburn, N.Y.
