Pacific Defeats CSU Bakersfield 4-0

STOCKTON, Calif.--Pacific defeated CSU Bakersfield 4-0 in women's soccer play Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers' Nydia Ramos got UOP on the board in the 34th minute. At 42:08, Kristina Wavomba made it 2-0 and with just 45 seconds remaining in the opening frame Kayla Villalpando gave the Tigers a 3-0 first half advantage. Wavomba added another goal in the 68th minute.
CSUB goalie Kym Gause (Sr., Manteca, Calif., Modesto JC) made a season high 11 saves as the Roadrunners were outshot 21-9 on the day.
The Roadrunners (2-4) head to Denver, Colo. for a pair of games at the Denver University Tournament next week. CSUB takes on the host Pioneers on Friday at 5:15 p.m. (MDT) and the University of Colorado on Sunday at 12 p.m. (MDT).
