Pereira signs Generation adidas contract

The 2021 Generation adidas class has its first signee.
Virginia Tech(m) midfielder Daniel Pereira announced that he would be leaving school after the fall 2020 season, signing a contract with Major League Soccer that will make him eligible for the 2021 Draft.

Pereira finished his career at the ACC program with 26 starts, scoring six goals and adding six assists. Originally from Venezuela, Pereira moved to the United States with his parents back in 2015, right before starting high school. He was a standout at Northside High School in Blacksburg, Virginia before joining the Hokies in 2019.
