PLATTSBURGH, NY—Andrew Dugan (Schenectady/Colonie) scored twice as Buffalo State (6-7-1/2-4) erased a two-goal deficit in the second half, but host Plattsburgh (10-3-1/4-2) scored just 59 seconds into overtime to escape with a 3-2 victory today in a SUNYAC contest.

Plattsburgh opened the scoring just 5:48 into the game and then pushed its lead to 2-0 in the XX minute. Buffalo State stormed back, however, as Dugan scored in the 80th and 85th minutes respectively to force overtime. C.J. Scirto (Lockport/St. Joe's) and Brandon Simoncelli (W. Seneca/W. Seneca East) picked up assists.

The Cardinals wasted little time in the extra session though, ending the game with an acrobatic bicycle kick goal in the 91st minute.

Plattsburgh finished with a 17-10 advantage in shots and scored the game-winner on its first shot of the overtime. Ian Huntoon (Stamford, CT/West Hill) had four saves for Buffalo State.

It was the second time this season the Bengals erased a two-goal deficit only to fall in overtime.

Buffalo State will conclude its stay in the "North Country" with another conference game tomorrow at Potsdam at 1 p.m.
