Rain, Waterlogged Conditions Prevail In Men’s Soccer Home-Opener
GOLDEN – NSCAA No. 6 Colorado School of Mines men's soccer played visiting California Baptist even for 45:00 minutes in Wednesday's home-opener, but rain proved to be the ultimate victor as the game was called at halftime due to unplayable conditions.
The game is ruled a no contest as play failed to reach the required 70:00-minute mark to be counted as an official match.
No make-up date has been scheduled.
The Orediggers continue their five-game home swing at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 against No. 5 Northeastern State.
