Rangers Rank 19th on NSCAA National Poll
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: The Rangers ranked 19th on the national polls this week after their performance this weekend. The team is ranked in the four spot in the RMAC after recording a 2-0-1 overall record.
The Rangers also ranked 3rd in the NSCAA Regional rankings, placing higher than the four other RMAC schools on the list.
Regis began their first weekend of play with two shutouts. The first against University of Mary, who was shutout 7-0 by the Ranger offense, then Upper Iowa fell 2-0 two days later. Last weekend, the Rangers faced nationally ranked #24 West Texas A&M. The match finished with a 2-2 after double overtime play. The Buffs advanced to a 13th place ranking after the weekend.
The Rangers will travel across town to Metro State on Friday, September 14 at 3:30 before returning home on Sunday, September 16 at 3:30 against Colorado State-Pueblo. These two matches mark the start of 2012 conference play for the Rangers.
