College soccer is continually locked in an ebb and flow among the nation’s top conferences. Each year, the balance of power shifts based on the amount of talent concentrated in each conference, and the TopDrawerSoccer.com preseason conference rankings takes into account the top-down view as the 2014 season kicks off.

The ACC takes No. 1 on the men’s side with two returning teams that made the final four of the NCAA tourney last year, while the Pac-12 is the toughest on the women’s side this season with UCLA propping up the nation’s best league.
