Recruiting Views: Big programs confirm

Below are some of the notable moves you may have missed in men’s and women’s DI soccer:

UVA confirm No. 2 class

Ten new players are joining the University of Virginia women’s soccer program in 2020, the ACC side confirmed last week.

The Cavaliers enjoyed a strong season last year prior to the NCAA tournament, making it the ACC tournament final before falling to North Carolina.

Head coach Steve Swanson’s new class ranked No. 2 in the most recent 2020 recruiting class rankings, as the class features eight players ranked in the Top 200 player rankings for the class.
