(Kansas City, Mo.) - Coming off a tough 2-1 double overtime loss to the Missouri State Bears Friday night, the UMKC women's soccer team looked to bounce back against the Missouri Tigers Sunday afternoon.  However, the 'Roos (1-5-3) fell short to the Tigers (8-2), 3-0.

In the first half, the 'Roos held the Tigers scoreless going into halftime. However, in the second half, Mizzou scored three unanswered goals to seal the win.

In the 52^nd minute, senior midfielder Kelsey Blinow connected for a score, assisted by sophomore forward Alyssa Diggs. Then, during the 86^th minute, Diggs connected on a score of her own, assisted by freshman forward/midfielder Abi Raymer.

A little over a minute later, after a foul on UMKC, sophomore midfielder Dominique Richardson scored on a penalty kick to put the Tigers up 3-0.

Next up for the 'Roos will be against Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7:00 P.M.
