The University of Scranton women’s soccer team outshot Lebanon Valley on Sunday, but couldn’t find the back of the net in a 1-0 loss to the Dutchmen in the Joe Bochicchio Classic at Fitzpatrick Field.
Lebanon Valley (2-2) scored the game’s only goal in the 16th minute on a goal by senior forward Nicole Snyder (Hegins, Pa./Tri Valley) on an assist from sophomore midfielder Amanda Douglass (Robbinsville, N.J./Robbinsville).
The Royals (0-3-2) had chances to tie the game, outshooting Lebanon Valley, 13-8, including a team high four shots by sophomore forward Kelsy O’Kane (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O’Hara).
