SAN JOSE, Calif.--Diego Ochoa scored on an unassisted corner kick with five seconds remaining in regulation to lead San Jose State past CSU Bakersfield Friday night 1-0 at Spartan Stadium.

Ochoa curved the ball in from the left corner banking off the right post and into the net to give the Spartans the win and the season sweep over CSUB.

CSUB's Gyasi Zardes (Jr., Hawthorne, Calif., Leuzinger HS) led the 'Runners with seven shots in the match including two on goal. The defensive battle saw just four shots on goal for the 'Runners and five shots on goal for the Spartans. Ochoa had two for San Jose.

With the loss the Roadrunners are now 5-3-4 (2-2 MPSF) on the season and will continue MPSF Pacific Division play Sunday as they travel to Seattle University. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
