RALEIGH, N.C. — During this past week’s domestic training camp in Raleigh, N.C., it’s uncertain whether the U.S. U20 Men’s Soccer coaching staff found the half dozen or so players who acting head coach Brian Bliss believed might merit additional callups.

Still, we got some indication about those who caught Bliss’ eye this week from the lineup he chose to run out for the final scrimmage against the Wilmington Hammerheads Saturday evening. The Hammerheads won the match 4-2, dominating the U.S. U20s in the process. Nevertheless, all three scrimmages the U.S. U20s played over the past five days provided a platform for several players in particular to stake their claim to future inclusion.
