TDS Men’s Division I Top 25: Sept. 2
The first weekend of the men’s Division I college season is largely in the books. There are a number of games on Monday with the extended holiday weekend, but the first official weekend is over so the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I Top 25 has been updated for Week Two rankings.
Maryland (1-0) keeps hold of the top spot following a win over USF in the opener. The Terms look different from last season, but they keep churning along with one of the best coaching staffs in college soccer.
Wake Forest (1-0) jumps up to No. 2 in the TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I Top 25. Wake Forest defeated Creighton and UCF in the opening two games of the season.
Stanford (1-0) made a statement to start the season with a commanding 5-0 win over Penn State. The Cardinal takes on Akron on Monday.
