TDS Men's Division I Top 25: Nov. 9
Wake Forest is still the No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer Top 25. The Demon Deacons survived a minor scare from Louisville on Sunday in the ACC Tournament, but the Deacons survived and advanced into the next round. Wake Forest takes on No. 8 Notre Dame on Wednesday.
Clemson jumps into the No. 2 spot. The Tigers benefit from Creighton and Stanford suffering defeats last week. Clemson takes on Syracuse in the other ACC semifinal on Wednesday. Clemson won the first meeting this season 1-0.
Georgetown slots in at No. 3. this week. After a 0-2-1 start to the season, the Hoyas are 13-0-1 over the past two months. Last week, Georgetown defeated Creighton to claim the Big East regular season crown. Georgetown opens up Big East tournament play against Xavier on Thursday.
Akron moves up to No. 4 this week. The Zips trounced Bowling Green 4-0 last week in their final regular season game. Akron takes on West Virginia in the MAC tournament on Friday.
Stanford rounds out the top five. The Cardinal lost to Washington last week, but still held onto the Pac-12 title thanks to other results in the conference. Stanford closes out the regular season on Thursday against California.
