TDS Men's Division I Top 25: October 11
The top three teams in the latest men's Division I Top 25 rankings all continued perfect start to the fall of 2021 season.
No. 1 side Georgetown beat Butler 1-0 at home on Saturday, as Dante Polvara bagged the game-winning goal from a free kick. The Hoyas face arguably their toughest conference test to date, traveling up to Providence on Wednesday for a mid-week clash against a Top 25 opponent.
Washington, which sits at No. 2, secured a pair of impressive results. Traveling down to Northern California, the Huskies beat Stanford and Cal, the former by a 3-1 mark and the latter by a 4-0 margin.
Rounding out the top three, New Hampshire bagged a 4-1 win against Binghamton, as Paul Mayer scored two goals and setup another.
Wake Forest returned to the Top 25 after beating North Carolina, while Virginia Tech and Bowling Green also joined.
