TDS Men’s Top 25: Sept. 15
It’s been a weird season already. Only three weeks into the 2014 campaign, there are only three programs left with a perfect record. Delaware (6-0), Campbell (3-0), and George Mason (5-0) are the only ones left without a blemish to their names heading into the fourth week of the season. All three find a spot on the TDS Top 25 this week.
With so little consistency from the expected top programs, there is yet another new team at the top of the TDS Top 25 this week. Creighton (4-0-1) stakes its flag at the top of the perch after a draw against Tulsa last week. The Jays have only conceded one goal through five games.
Notre Dame (3-1-1) scoots down to No. 2 in the Top 25 following a loss to Kentucky (3-2) and a win over Syracuse (4-1) over the course of the past week.
Washington (4-1) moves up to No. 3 following impressive wins over Penn and Connecticut. The Huskies have been prolific in the attack with 15 goals in five games.
UCLA (3-1-2) checks in right behind its Pac-12 rival at No. 4. The Bruins were shy in front of the goal at home against Santa Clara and Cal Poly, which left UCLA still searching for its first home goal of the season following 220 minutes of scoreless play.
The New Mexico Lobos (4-1) round out the top five. The C-USA favorite has only let in three goals through five games this season.
