The regular season is just about done and dusted, as conference tournaments kick off into a high gear this week in the women’s DI college season.
Two 15-1-1 teams retained their No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the latest TDS Women’s DI Top 25, as Virginia and West Virginia enter the ACC and Big 12 tournaments as the top seeds in their respective conference.
Stanford became the second team to officially clinch and NCAA tournament spot, as the Cardinal blanked a pair of Pac-12 opponents, defeating USC 1-0 on Thursday and besting UCLA 2-0 on Sunday night.
Seeking a top seed in the NCAA tournament, Stanford remains at No. 3 in the top 25 this week, with Florida State and Penn State rounding out the top five.
New entrants in this week’s Top 25 include USC (No. 24) and CAA top seed Hofstra (No. 25).
