TDS Women's Division I Top 25: October 4
The Top 5 teams remained unbeaten, but there are still changes in this week's women's Division I Top 25 college rankings update.
Florida State's dominant season continued, as the Seminoles easily dispatched Clemson by a 4-1 score on Friday night. The win was Mark Krikorian's 300th with FSU, and the program's 14th straight in ACC play.
A tilt between ACC powerhouses Virginia and North Carolina ended with neither side finding the back of the net on Sunday, as the ranked foes drew 0-0 in Chapel Hill. That was one of several intriguing matchups over the past week.
UCLA survived a road scare in Arizona, trailing 3-1 against Arizona State. Three unanswered goals, including an overtime winner from Olivia Athens, keep the Bruins at No. 3 this week, and still unbeaten.
