Temple Loses to Duke 3-1 On the Road
DURHAM, N.C. – Temple men's soccer lost on the road to Duke 3-1 on Tuesday night at Koskinen Stadium. Temple falls to 1-3-0 while Duke improves to 2-1-1.
Duke scored in the first two minutes of the game when Cameron Moseley scored his third goal of the season. Temple evened up the score not even two minutes later. Joonas Jokinen scored his first collegiate goal after going one-on-one with a defender. Olli Tynkkynen assisted on the goal. Duke took the lead for good in the 12th minute off a goal by Jack Coleman.
The Owls made a comeback attempt in the second half with five shots, but were unable to get any on goal. The Blue Devils added an insurance goal with five minutes left in the game when Moseley scored his second goal of the game.
Dan Scheck made four saves in the game, two in each half.
The Owls return to action on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
