TopDrawerSoccer Men’s DI Top 25: Sept. 24
The TopDrawerSoccer Men’s Division I Top 25 has been updated following the fifth week of the college season. Wake Forest keeps control of the top spot. The ACC powerhouse is 8-0 on the season and rolling through the competition. Indiana, Kentucky, Denver, and Louisville round out the top five this week.
Virginia (4-0-2) moves up the rankings this week. The Cavaliers are unbeaten on the season but have a few tough tests coming up including a game at Pittsburgh on Friday. North Carolina (6-1) also moves up in the rankings this week. North Carolina takes on Clemson this week in a big ACC clash.
The top game of the week is on Monday when No. 11 Portland (6-0-2) takes on No. 12 Coastal Carolina (4-1). A road win for Portland would be a huge bonus for the Pilots RPI prior to conference play. The Pilots are the toughest team left on the Coastal Carolina schedule.
