TopDrawerSoccer Women's DI Top 25: Nov. 6
November 6, 2017
Heading into the upcoming NCAA Tournament, Stanford is the clear favorite.
The team's blend of experience (Andi Sullivan, Alana Cook, Tierna Davidson) and rookie star (Catarina Macario) has the Cardinal rolling into the tourney. Winners of 16 straight, the Pac-12 champs are the No. 1 team yet again in the TDS Women's Top 25.
However, results from the past week have left their mark on the latest rankings. Texas A&M moved into the top five, edging ahead of Duke after the Aggies won the SEC tournament and the Blue Devils lost to rivals North Carolina in the ACC tournament final.
The Tar Heels are now at No. 2 after Sunday's win, followed by UCLA, A&M and Duke.
