Trine’s lone shot attempt came off the foot of junior Amy Williams (Garrett, Ind./Northrop) in the 57th minute but was wide of the net.

Davis finished the night with a season-high 11 saves.

Trine will return to action on Sept. 12 for a 4:00 p.m. game where they face defending conference champion and preseason favorite Calvin College.
