U20 MNT preps for qualifying, defense woes
Tab Ramos and the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team coaching staff kicked off one of the final camps this week in Florida before World Cup qualifying begins. Ramos called in 24 players for the weeklong camp, as he shapes his group prior to the CONCACAF Championship in Puebla, Mexico in February.
The U20 MNT has two months to go prior to the start of the competition, and likely only one more camp for players to make the final push for a coveted spot on the team.
“I think these last couple camps are basically to get a better look at all the best guys we’ve seen so far,” Ramos told ussoccer.com. “And continue to build a group that’s going to be the final group to lead us into qualifying.”
If this is the final group, the U.S. has some major question marks surrounding the back four of this squad.
