On Thursday, the U.S. U20 Women’s National Team and the rest of Group A kick off the 2014 CONCACAF U20 Championship in the Cayman Islands. The U.S., as always, enters the event as the favorite having won the title in three of the past four installments. With Canada playing the role of hosts for the 2014 U20 World Cup, the path to a regional crown looks even easier for the U.S. over the next two weeks.

However, there are still games to be played and the U.S. advance from its group and win one more to claim a spot at the World Cup with only the top three teams earning berths from CONCACAF.

Below is a breakdown of the competition as well as some players to watch from the 2014 U20 CONCACAF Championship in the Cayman Islands.
