VanDine Named CS360 Primetime Performer

College Soccer 360.com named Fresno State women's soccer senior Kendall VanDineto the Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll for Oct. 3-9.

VanDine, this years captain, has helped lead a defense that recorded its seventh shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Western Athletic Conference rival San Jose State (Oct. 8).

The Bulldogs' defense is also ranked 56th nationally in shutout percentage and has tied two top 25 teams, No. 8 Pepperdine (1-1, Sept. 25) and No. 21 Loyola Marymount (0-0, Aug. 28).

Out of 1,325 minutes of game time, VanDine has played every second for Fresno State. She is also ranked top 10 on the team in points and assists.

The weekly award is not given based soley on raw stats according to CS360. The student athletes "exhibited strong leadership and/or involved in clutch performances such as all-around performance, team spirit, etc."

VanDine is only the second WAC student-athlete to be recognized this year by CS360.

The last Bulldog to receive the honor was Kaitlyn Revel in week 12 of last year after leading the team to three shutout wins in the WAC tournament.

Other student-athletes recognized represent four of the top 10 teams and two others receiving votes for national ranking.

Fresno State (8-3-3) is currently ranked seventh in the west region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
