D2 Women’s Player of the Week: Mikayla Ernst, Central Missouri
Ernst was on absolute fire this week, starting with two goals and an assist in a 5-0 defeat of Ouachita Baptist, then raising a game with a quadruple of goals to lead a 7-2 victory over Harding.
D2 Women’s Team of the Week: Minnesota State-Mankato
Going on the road was no problem for a Mavericks team that scored seven and conceded none in victories over the University of Mary and Minot State.
D3 Women’s Player of the Week: Sarah Dullaghan, Emmanuel (MA)
Fresh off setting the NCAA D3 single-season record for goals last fall, Dullaghan is at it again, scoring back-to-back doubles in victories over Mitchell and Albertus Magnus.
D3 Women’s Team of the Week: California Lutheran
Cal Lutheran came out on top of a nationally ranked conference clash with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, then hit the road to earn another SCIAC win over Chapman.
NAIA Women’s Player of the Week: Yajaira Alvarado, Williams Baptist College
Alvarado was truly unstoppable last week, recording back-to-back hat tricks in identical 3-1 wins over Bethel (Tn.) and Freed-Hardeman.
NAIA Women’s Team of the Week: Columbia College (MO)
The Cougars put the nation on notice with a 1-0 victory over No. 6 John Brown, with goalkeeper Natalie Allison shining with eight saves.
